Omaha history comes alive for students and adults during a guided tour of the Castle. Friends of Joslyn Castle arranges and conducts the Castle tours. Student tours are available by appointment during the school year. Please include enough adults in your group to achieve a 1 - 10 adult-to-student ratio.

Student tours cost $3 per person, including adults. There is a $20 minimum charge per school tour.

Student tours can be supplemented with a curriculum guide, written at a fourth grade level.

Private tours for groups of ten or more can also be arranged by appointment. See Admission Charges, below, for tour costs. There is a $20 minimum charge per private tour.

The Castle is open the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month. Tours begin at 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00 pm.

All children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

*note: If coming by coach, Joan Fogarty will give directions on how to get to the Castle, and where to park the coach. Dodge Street west to 39th. Street, turn right which is north, and drive to the end of the street, parking on 39th Street. Coaches are too big to manipulate getting into the Joslyn parking lot.
