Imagine hosting your business or private event in the rich setting of beauty and elegance that the Joslyn Castle delivers.

A park-like setting surrounded by limestone walls assures your privacy on more than five acres. The Castle contains 35 beautifully crafted and maintained rooms. Corporate and community leaders find the Castle the ideal location for their company's special event or corporate meeting.

The elegant entry hall is a beautiful welcoming area to register your event participants. Our library, morning room, music room, and gold room are the perfect settings for a meeting, luncheon, or special event formal dining.

The English paneled dining room can be used to serve a buffet or as an elegant setting for a board meeting.

The Castle has a portable projection screen and internet connectivity allowing for presentations and internet access during your event.

The grounds are the perfect setting for outside dining, activities or a fundraising auction.

Banquet / Meeting Rooms

Main Floor (Mon.-Thurs.)

Morning Room: 2 rounds, 16 guests $75/hr.
Dining Room: 1 table, 14 guests $100/hr.
Gold Room: 4 rounds, 32 guests $150/hr.
Library: 5 rounds, 45 guests $175/hr.
Music Room: 5 rounds, 45 guests $200/hr.
Balcony: 1 round, 8 guests or 2 tables, 10 guests $25/hr.

Second Floor (Mon.-Thurs.)

Sarah’s Room: 4 rounds, 30 guests $100/hr.
Violet’s Room: 4 rounds, 30 guests $100/hr.
Servant’s Quarters: 2 tables, 14 guests $75/hr

Corporate Dinner / Private Party (5 pm-11 pm)

Monday-Thursday $300/hr.
Friday & Saturday $500/hr.

Meetings / Luncheons (8 am-5 pm)

All-Day $600
Half-Day $450

Rental Includes . . .

  • Thirty 60" round tables (seats 8 or 9)
  • Six 6 foot banquet tables (seats 8)
  • 200 (gray) padded stacking chairs (may not be used outdoors)
  • 50 (mauve) padded stacking chairs (may not be used outdoors)
  • 100 folding chairs (not padded)
  • Six coat racks
  • Two coffee makers
  • The dining room’s antique table
  • Two small antique tables (convenient for guest book, punch, cake, etc.)
  • Docents and security (Security personnel and a docent are assigned to every event. Cost is included in rental.)
  • Cleaning and set up of Joslyn tables and chairs

Additional rentals

A Joslyn representative will be on hand to help caterers, rental services and decorators to deliver and remove items. Equipment, linens, dishes, flatware, audio/video systems, bars, etc. not listed above must be provided by the caterer, a rental company, and/or musicians.

All equipment brought into the Castle must have protective cushions/pads wherever they contact the floor and are to be carried or pushed on rubber wheeled carts. Should a rental chair make marks that can not be washed out on the wood floors, a $50.00 buffing charge will be deducted from your Security Deposit.

Catering

The Joslyn Castle kitchen is not available for meal preparation; however, it serves as a base for event caterers.

The Castle requires renting guests to select from a large list of caterers who are familiar with Joslyn Castle and its requirements. Here is our current list of preferred vendors:
